Kate English was born on Novato, CA in 1983 and spent the majority of her childhood in Petaluma, CA. In 2001 after graduating high school Kate moved with her parents to Medford, OR.

In 2003 when she attended the Honor Academy in Garden Valley, Texas.

In 2004 she spent the summer in Kona, HI volunteering at the Kings Mansion YWAM base researching for and helping with a conference that was held in Crete, Greece that focused on gender based injustice. It was in Crete that she first heard the term “Human Trafficking.”

In 2006 she student/staffed a short term school called Children in Crisis. This school was through Mercy in Action and  partnered with the Vineyard church in Boise, ID with 3 months spent in Boise and 4 months in the Philippines. While in the Philippines she was able to meet with Dr. Gundelina Velazco and hear about her dream and goal of building a round home for girls that can now be seen at http://love146.org/roundhome

In August of 2007 Kate returned to Boise with the goal of staffing another Children in Crisis school. The timing wasn’t quite right for the school but she was able to teach in a 16 week class at the Vineyard that focused on Women and Children in Crisis. The topics covered in the class ranged from human trafficking to honor killings to AIDs. She  was able to be a part of the start up of an anti-human trafficking taskforce based in Boise that eventually provided training for the Boise police force. In September of 2009 she was involved with the Re:Form conference at the Vineyard where Rob Morris from love146spoke and where I-61 Ministries originated. She was also a part of bringing the movie Call+Response to Boise in November of 2008.

In 2009 while attending Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry in Redding, CA she was part of a team that researched the link between social justice and fashion and created the blog adoriajustice.wordpress.com

She also designed a clothing line that was shown in the Adoria Fashion show in May of 2010.

Kate graduated from the first year program  at Bethel Church and spent the summer in Medford with her family and then returned to Redding for the second year program.
